Karoline Pöhn (born 1987 in Schärding, Austria, based in Linz) works at the intersection of art, technology, and textile design. With a background in Fashion & Technology (BA) and a Master's degree in textile.arts.design from the University of Arts Linz, her practice investigates human sensitivity, resilience, and the cultural systems we inhabit.
Her works unfold in layers — combining techniques, shifting formats, and allowing analog and digital processes to coexist. This fluid approach gives space to transformation, a central motif in her practice.
Pöhn’s work challenges assumptions by reframing perspectives. Each piece is a soft inquiry: into emotions, into thought, into the possibility of creating tangible, slower, more feeling-oriented environments within a fragmented world.
Through this evolving process, she develops a visual and tactile language that resonates with the subtle complexity of human experience and the fluid textures of contemporary life.
